Fendissime was born in the late 1980s from the idea of the third generation of Fendi women to present a line aimed at very young women: pieces with lively designs and eye-catching colors, perfect for embodying the spirit of the maison and the light-heartedness of the 1980s and 1990s.
The line was in production for just a few years, having already ceased production in the early 1990s. And I think it's precisely this chronology that makes me love it so much. The period coincides with the happy years of my childhood; in a bag or the color of a dress, I can find so much of my mother's style.

On the front, the metal logo on a large leather heart: it makes you think of Moschino and I'd say that's one more reason to love it.
The charm/tag attached to the shoulder strap is a real gem, it screams: FENDISSIME - Made in the Republic of Italy. It's so "magical nights - Italy '90," a symbol of national pride 😍.
The name of the line is engraved on all the circles and tiny rivets in the shape of a 10-lire coin: a tear-jerking Amarcord moment. When having ten lire as a child seemed like a fortune.
The snap button on the inside pocket adds the finishing touch: it nostalgically recalls a period of extreme turmoil, especially for Italian fashion. "Things were better when they were worse" is the perfect summary.
