Sandal with a super showy platform, direct descendant of the chopines, the stilts between 15 and 60 cm high, worn, with the help of two servants, by Venetian aristocrats in the 16th century. In the 70s, beloved by Bowie, Elton, Bolan and company, they even performed with ease with these sculptures on their feet.
I have never worn chopines, but I can vouch for the comfort of these Pradine: the difference in height between the sole of the foot and the heel is only 3 cm.
